  Brew your own!

Sun Tea

1 gallon of water
4-5 tablespoons loose tea or 8 tea bags

Optional: sprig of fresh mint, lavender, lemon balm or sage. Fresh lemon or orange slices.

Fill a gallon container with cold water. Add 4-5 tablespoons of loose tea (in a cotton tea bag) or 8 tea bags. Cover loosely.

Place in direct sunlight for 3-4 hours, according to desired strength. Chill in refrigerator for a few hours. Berry herbals or black teas work best.

For tea variations, add a sprig of fresh mint, lavender, lemon balm, or sage to your chilled tea container. Also try adding fresh lemon or orange slices. Make an Arnie Palmer by mixing half iced tea and half lemonade.
